Okay, maybe not all of you got nagged about it, but probably a good portion of today’s generation of adults did.

It’s natural to wonder whether college is really necessary. A college degree, as many have found, is no guarantee of a good career. On the flipside, there are many successful entrepreneurs who didn’t need their college education and become millionaires anyway. Here are fifteen of them, both contemporary and from the past, in alphabetical order.

Mary Kay Ash. The founder of Mary Kay Inc. started a cosmetics business. While she didn’t have a college education or any training, she successfully created a brand known throughout the world. Their appreciation for Mary Kay Ash is unwavering.

Richard Branson. An orphan for many years, Gabrielle Coco Chanel trained as a seamstress. A perfume bearing her name, Chanel No. 5 kept her name famous.

Simon Cowell. Simon Cowell started in a mailroom for a music publishing company. He has since become an Artist and Repertoire (A&R) executive for Sony BMG in the UK, and a television producer and judge for major television talent contests including American Idol.

Michael Dell. With $1,000, dedication and desire, Michael Dell dropped out of college at age 19 to start PC’s Limited, later named Dell, Inc. Dell became the most profitable PC manufacturer in the world. In 1996, The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation offered a $50 million grant to The University of Texas at Austin to be used for children’s health and education in the city.

Barry Diller. HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE; hang around with positive people, stay away from cry babies and complainers, because they will pull you down to their level. If something isn't going right in your life, keep it to yourself, no one wants to hear your problems, make people believe you are having a wonderful time.

2. ORGANIZE YOUR LIFE; keep an appointment book so that you don't have to use the words that sicken me: "I FORGOT." At the end of each day, meditate upon what you did or did not do, so you can become stronger for tomorrow. Plan your work for the next day. If you know where you are going you will get there. If you don't, you are LOST!

3. WORK WHEN YOU WORK; don't take long lunch hours, and only eat with people who can help your cause, not with other salespeople. Do not sneak out of work early, if you do you are a LOSER.

4. OBSERVE GIRARD'S NO-NOs; No smoking or chewing tobacco, no gum, no colognes, no profanity, no dirty jokes, no alcohol breath, and men do not wear earrings when you are working. Turn off cell phones - they're irritating. The biggest killer of them all is NOT BEING ON TIME.

5. DRESS THE PART; what kind of people are you dealing with. If you are selling to blue collar workers, don't wear $500 suits and expensive shoes, jewelry or watches (it's a big distraction). Wear it on your own time, not when you're working - clothes can turn people off.

6. LISTEN! People can tell if you're not listening. The longer you listen, the more obligated people will feel towards you. The more you listen, the more likely a customer is going to do business with you. Listening shows that you care. "The mouth should only be used for eating - keep your mouth shut!" Silence is Golden.

7. SMILE! A smile increases your face value. If people would smile more, your customers would feel better and want to do business with you, plus it's great for your health!

8. RETURN ALL PHONE CALLS & EMAILS; not returning calls or emails are a way to lose customers and friends. Return your calls and emails as soon as possible. If you don't, that's a good way to burn a bridge!

9. TELL THE TRUTH; if you get caught in a lie even once, you will always be a liar. Even if you tell the truth for the rest of your life, you won't be trusted or believed, consider yourself DEAD.

10. DON'T OVERCHARGE; if you do, and the customer compares your deal with somebody else, you have lost him. Take a little and leave a little; Joe only worked on a small profit, but he was heavy on volume, averaging six retail automobile sales a day. Word of mouth got around that YOU CAN'T BEAT JOE GIRARD'S PRICE.

11. STAND IN FRONT OF YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICES; not behind. The most important thing to do for your customer is SERVICE them, and they will do business with you over and over again. This is what made JOE #1 IN THE WORLD.

12. LOCK UP EVERY SALE; after you have closed the sale, ask your customers why they bought from you - if they tell you why, they are reinforcing their trust in you. Therefore no more buyers' remorse, MEANING NO MORE CANCELLATIONS.

13. REWARD YOURSELF; treat yourself well for all the smart work you have done; YOU DESERVE IT!Mark />如果你的伴侶,比你大或小四、五歲,差別不會太大,但你的伴侶若是,比你大或小十歲以上,就會造成很多困難。

這三個致命迷失就是;

Mark href="http://www.revivalyouth.net/home.php" target="_blank">http://www.revivalyouth.net/home.php

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord

Mark href="http://www.revivalyouth.net/home.php" target="_blank">http://www.revivalyouth.net/home.php‧

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character
Chemistry
Compatibility
Commitment

http://tv.carnews.com.tw/asx/0000000526.asx

Mark target="_blank">http://www.wretch.cc/blog/asurepublic&article_id=21815835

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

(sex is never the test of love)

Mark He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. {19} He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.

(Matthew 18:11-13 NKJV) "For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. {12} "What do you think? Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

(1 John 1:8-10 NKJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. {9} If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. {10} If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

(1 John 2:1-2 NKJV) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. {2} And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Mark Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00495148683855778008noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8525909368434697936.post-25057453079160661922009-03-10T14:56:00.001+01:002009-03-10T14:58:55.025+01:00Because You Love Me...Thanks
I always like this song and was listening to it this morning. Will Restore your Life to His Original Purpose (Zechariah 10)

Here are precious promises to the people of God, which look to the state of the Jews, and even to the latter days of the church. Preaching the gospel is God's call for souls to come to Jesus Christ. Those whom Christ redeemed by his blood, God will gather by his grace. Difficulties shall be got over easily, and effectually, as those in the way of the deliverance out of Egypt. God himself will be their strength, and their song. When we resist, and so overcome our spiritual enemies,

then our hearts shall rejoice. If God strengthen us, we must bestir ourselves in all the duties of the Christian life, must be active in the work of God; and we must do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.

How often we wish we can turn back our time where we can start all over. Where we have lost and been robbed of our most precious; whether it is a relationship, youth, wealth, health, anything that is dear and close to us. We may have even foolishly thrown it all away, leaving only regret, shame and guilt. We know we are forgiven and our past forgotten by the cleansing blood of Jesus. But wouldn’t it be great if we can get back those years wasted and live them for the glory of the Lord?

Now you can!

And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten–the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you.

And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame.

And you shall know, understand, and realize that I am in the midst of Israel and that I the Lord am your God and there is none else. There is a new beginning for us, filled with new chances, new opportunities and new expectations. God will not only wipe away our rotten past. But He will RESTORE and REPLACE the good of what we have lost, destroyed, and robbed by the devil and its demonic army.

We will have plentiful and be completely satisfied. He wants you to know that truth and the truth that HE is in the midst of His people! He is not an absentee Father, we are not orphans. He will not allow His people to be shamed anymore. This is a profound truth that no one else can claim.

I the Lord am your God and there is none else.

The Day of the LORD is here!
Mark Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00495148683855778008noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8525909368434697936.post-74909662200130137782009-03-03T03:51:00.003+01:002009-03-03T04:12:18.077+01:00Attributes of a virtuous woman: The desire of all men and goal of every Christian lady.It is my earnest prayer that everyone that reads this piece shall partake of the blessing of a virtuous woman either as an individual or in someone else’s life in Jesus name, amen.

The benefits of a virtuous woman are immense with resounding effect on many generations and could be for eternity as is in the case of the only woman ever referred to by name as a virtuous woman in the bible-Ruth. She was the grandmother of King David of Israel and the throne of David by covenant is everlasting and this was fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.

I perceive that every born again female child of God desires to be a virtuous woman while every male desires a virtuous woman for a wife. To the glory of God the wherewithal is imbedded in every believer, for the attributes of a virtuous woman are built on love that has already been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5)

It is written that “without faith it is impossible to please God”. (Hebrews 11:6) and that “faith worketh by love”. (Galatians 5:6) That means faith is impotent without love, meaning love is the life line of faith. It is so clear that the woman in the book of Proverbs pleased God so much so that she is being referred to as virtuous; this is the desire of God for His daughters in their marital life. These attributes of a virtuous woman are priceless in the lives of believing single ladies knowing that every married woman was first a single lady.

Let us examine some of these attributes as documented in Proverbs 31:10-31:

1. A virtuous woman is of impeccable moral character and she is a gem of inestimable value to her husband, children and the community at large.
2. She is trustworthy, scrupulous, and honest that her husband’s heart trusts absolutely in her. Meaning that she is inherently good and true to the hilt.
3. She is ingenious, versatile, thrifty and dutiful. She does not eat the bread of idleness; she is resourceful, skilful and diligent in business.
4. She is benevolent, generous and mindful of others’ welfare, she is simply a bundle of joy to know and acquaint with. Her love and care for the welfare of the less privileged is obvious for all to see and testify to.
5. She is fearless and bold like a lioness for she is always well prepared for any eventualities that come her way. She prepares ahead of time for her household’s upkeep for all weathers. “……………, but the righteous is bold as a lion” Proverbs 28:1
6. She is a clever decorator and her attires befit the royalty that she is in Jesus Christ. She furnishes her abode with quality tapestry befitting a palace with uncompromising taste in finesse.
7. Her husband is well respected among the elders and dignitaries because of the popularity and decorum of the virtuous woman. A wise man says, “The finesse of the wife makes the husband shine” very true indeed.
8. She is industrious, exploiting all avenue of commerce thus prosperous. She is honorable and dependable because of her honesty, and confidence in the faithfulness of her God. She is wise and discreet in counsel, exhibiting the abundance of the grace of God upon her life for all to see, enjoy and emulate. A woman of impeccable integrity.
9. She is an epitome of kindness and prudence, and channels inexhaustible energy towards caring for her household.
10. She is an ideal wife and mother whose husband and children honors and rejoices in, constantly commending her for her love, care and excellent virtue.
11. Her fear of God is evident in her humility; her successes are a reflection of the favor of God upon her life. Her life is a reference point for prayer point because her dedication to God has resulted in the favor and blessing of God upon her life. She is obviously fruitful in every areas of life for the Lord has blessed her and made her a blessing.
12. She is honored in public for her diligence speaks on her behalf and the hand of God upon her is undeniable. Prosperity, joy, peace and favor are synonymous with her and her household.

The above-enumerated attributes of a virtuous woman distinguishes her from every other woman and are inherently innate in every born again woman. To be a virtuous woman therefore, all that is needed is to stir up the gifts of God that you are already equipped with by the divine providence of God-the greater one that lives in you by the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, these virtues are every husband’s desire for their wives and the desire of every bachelor in his future wife. God knowing that He has infused these characteristics in His children requires that no child of His be unequally yoked with unbelievers because He that created man knows what a man desires and the only specie of human that possesses such attributes are the blood washed children of God.

Since the fall of Adam and Eve in Eden and the sin nature invaded the composition of the human constitution, it became impossible without the grace of God for humans to exhibit their original nature that was corrupted by sin. But blessed be the name of the Lord for the restoration of the original godly nature in humans before the fall, through the acceptance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.

Again it is my prayer that every lady (married or unmarried) that reads this piece henceforth shall start manifesting and demonstrating the attributes of a virtuous woman. If you have been exhibiting it already, it shall rise to a higher level in Jesus name and your husband shall call you blessed and a blessing in Jesus name, amen.

May your husband have the following testimonies and mindset about you:

• Having absolute confidence in your faithfulness and honesty
• Trusting your judgment and God given wisdom
• Reposing confidence in your managerial ability both at the home front and the business circle
• Reckoning that you are a crown of glory upon his head that has brought him to prominence and recognition by the virtue of the grace of God in your life.
• Finally, knowing you to be a woman who knows how to make the fullest and richest expression of her womanhood; a woman who succeeds as a woman.

Mark Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00495148683855778008noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8525909368434697936.post-48608777164760259232009-03-03T03:34:00.001+01:002009-03-03T03:34:39.872+01:00VIRTUOUS ATTRIBUTES OF A WOMAN: PROVERBS 31• Hard to find (v.10)
• Worth more than rubies (v.10)
• Trustworthy (v.12)
• She brings her husband no evil (v.12)
• She a hard but skilled worker (v.13-14)
• Not lazy (v.15)
• She builds her OWN resources, an investor (v.16/24)
• She’s energetic and physically strong (v.17)
• She is wise and well prepared (v.18)
• She is skilled at spinning wool (v.19)
• She compassionate, gives to the needy (v.20)
• Provides necessities for her family (v.21-22)
• Her husband is respected because of her (v.23/31)
• She is an entrepreneur (v.24)
• She is mentally strong and dignified (v.25)
• She has a wise tongue (v.26)
• She is responsible (v.27)
• She is praised in her home (v.28)

That is what i am aiming for...Mark Tionghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00495148683855778008noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8525909368434697936.post-62522795727539745182009-03-03T02:53:00.002+01:002009-03-03T03:27:50.415+01:00Living SacrificeSo then, my friends, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. God is creating for Himself a people where He will be their God and they will be His people. This God and people relationship makes for a passionate community that cares about following and serving Christ, as well as caring and loving one another.

Each church needs to reflect the Kingdom characteristic of God's people. The family is an intentional community that represents and champions the cause of Christ in this world. Every person that accepts the gospel becomes a citizen of God's Kingdom who by faith has moved from the Kingdom of darkness into Kingdom of light. When the followers of Christ begin to function as the body of Christ is results in various observable Kingdom community characteristics. These constitute the basic parameters and foundation of a church.

1. Faith community-The Relationship to God
2. Caring Community-Relating to One Another
3. />

Mark
